Each Spanish-speaking nation has its own legal codes, and those different codes and legal concepts make the job of the legal translator particularly challenging. This webinar will present a method for successfully translating convoluted Spanish-language legal documents into smooth and precise English.

This online workshop includes:

  • Review and discussion of Spanish-English/English-Spanish translation skills
  • Emphasis on Spanish-English translation
  • Focus on the legal Spanish of Mexico, Venezuela, and Colombia (the varieties most frequently encountered by translators in the U.S.)
Your Instructor:  Kelly Varguez is a federally certified court interpreter and also holds state court certification in both Nebraska and Iowa.  She earned her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College.
