Interpreters working in both court and medical settings are governed by strong ethical codes.  While these codes are similar, they are not identical, and their application can vary dramatically.  This webinar compares and contrasts the ethical standards governing medical and court interpreters and illustrates their application in real world scenarios.  This 3-hour  webinar is open to interpreters of all languages.

This webinar is live and instructor-led. Participants are required to actively participant in the workshop. This workshop is designed to familiarize you with the Codes of Ethics for court and medical interpreters. Through discussions and exercises with the trainer and other participants, you will acquire the tools to successfully navigate situations where ethical considerations are at stake.
